Note: nom. illeg. D. hawaiiensis is superfl. and illegitimate since for Fosberg mentioned Pleomele lanaiensis Deg. and P. hawaiiensis Deg., neither of which were valdily published and so he should have based a new combination on P. fernaldii, which was the only name he listed that was valid at the time. There is no combining author as the name he tried was not valid so in essence didn't exist.
